TECH Meetings: Artificial Intelligence in the Dental Sector

On June 20, Inspiria Dental hosted "Tech Meetings: Artificial Intelligence" at the Madrid Innovation Lab (MIL), Madrid’s first center created to promote the development of Artificial Intelligence and DeepTech technologies.

At this event, leading companies in the dental sector had the opportunity to discuss and debate the impact that the analysis of large sets of clinical data and the clinical use of artificial intelligence have on the dental industry and dental practices.

The event was facilitated by Rafael Areses and Luis Mallo, who guided the conversation toward key issues such as:

• The analysis of clinical indicators to improve decision-making.
• The automation of management tasks.
• The application of technology in treatments and diagnoses.

One of the main conclusions was the significant increase in data collection in both dental practices and the dental industry.

Attendees agreed that, although the use of data in clinics is highly valued, a paradigm shift is necessary: new workflows are needed to make better use of the information collected. The ability to build data-driven intangible assets will be key to leading the industry.
